About Us

     Fort Worth Cops for Kids, established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2003, is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families throughout the Fort Worth community. Over the past two decades, the program has positively impacted more than 10,000 children through meaningful outreach, direct support, and lasting community partnerships.

     Through the generosity of private donors and corporate partners, Fort Worth Cops for Kids provides scholarships, school supplies, holiday assistance, and critical resources to children in need. Our initiatives include long standing partnerships such as the Build-A-Bear program with Cook Children’s Hospital, Shop with a Cop events, youth enrichment programs, and emergency family assistance, all designed to support academic success, emotional well-being, and hope during times of need.

     At its core, Fort Worth Cops for Kids strengthens the relationship between law enforcement and the youth we serve by fostering trust, compassion, and connection. By investing in children and families, we are helping build a stronger, more unified, and resilient Fort Worth, one child, one family, and one community at a time.
